Sun time lapse

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

As some of you know I got two new mounts in April and sometime in August / September this year I finished installing them.

Now that I have time 24/7 I did some tests with this new mounts, two iOptorn CEM 120EC2, in order to see how good they track in Solar tracking rate.

I have to say they are fantastic and now the Solar guider prototypes I built beginning this year has become obsolete

Below the link to 3 videos I made these days ...

I just let the mount run without adjusting anything

Thanks for looking

Hi Rainer,

Great setup you have there. Like the tennis ball at the end of the CW shaft. NIce time lapse. Looking forward to seeing more.
