Proms Jan. 18, 2019

Post by Astrophil »

Had another go at the proms today. Again, I saw nothing on the surface. The first image is a follow up from yesterdays and shows quite a change. All were taken with the Quantum Six, .74x reducer, and PGR Grasshopper GX.

Wow, terrific images Phil. What is the Etalon? By Quantum Six, are we talking the Questar cousin?

Wow! Thanks for all the kind comments. I'm glad you liked them.

Christopher, I used a Solar Spectrum SO 1.5 0.3 etalon for those images. Yes, the Quantum Six is the Questar's cheaper cousin. Still working after all these years.

Alexandra, as Tony Bennett once said " Grey skies are going to clear up".
