Solar proms, surface and edge in Ha 119 Jan 2019

Post by Merlin66 »

Trying the SM60/ED80 with the PST mod plus ASI 174 , x2.5PM and tilter.
The double edge seems to be removed(?)
Need more tweaking, but definitely looking promising.
Onwards and Upwards.

Thanks!
The seeing conditions down here on the Bay limit hi-res work, but the SM60 DS with the PST etalon does seem to be a step forward.

Ken, all those images are very good. Looks like you have a imaging system that will work well. It's nice when things come together.
