Sol from the 19th of January 2019.

Post by eroel »

Hi:
Spent the weekend at the rural observatory fixing everything, but gosh, one never finish fixing, cleaning and etc, all the equipment. :(
Weather was not good, but tried the 6" f/12 AP triplet refractor with a 2X Baader telecentric and an ATM Daystar filter plus the SKYnyx 2-2 camera.
It was hazy as you can see from the photo, so it was hard to get some viewable results.
Thanks for looking and wish you all a nice new week.
Eric.

Eric, excellent results through the haze and superb detail on the proms. So that's how it's done.
Thanks,
Phil

Hi Eric...

These are excellent images despite the conditions, and the details in the proms held very well :bow

Such a beautiful halo, I don't know how you get such good clear crisp proms with that haze :bow :bow
