AR12733 - 23rd Jan

Post by David_The_Bears_Fan »

More sunshine here today so I managed to grab some more images of the new AR. Seeing was quite variable (which is evident in the full disk where you can see differences in sharpness between the individual panes) but I was just pleased to get another session in!
Full disk was shot at native 1000mm FL of the Evostar whilst the close-ups were shot with a 2.5x barlow. White light image was taken using Lunt 1.25" Herschel prism and Baader Solar Continuum filter.

Hopefully I have the file sizes down a bit from last post!

Clear skies

Edit: Seems I read the AR number wrong earlier!

Thanks all. Clouds and rain have returned today so I am glad I made the most of the decent weather while it lasted.

These are very nice images David. This AR has some structure even in WL.
