Reflected sunlight- Waxing Crescent Moon

Post by Carbon60 » Sat Feb 09, 2019 11:38 am

Imaged through my Technosky 125 under gusty conditions in wobbly seeing, between the eaves of my neighbour’s rooflines. I was pleased that I managed to capture some reflected light at all, especially with wispy clouds as well drifting into view on half of my SER sequences. Talk about frustrating!

No Sun though, sorry.......

Thanks for looking.

Excellent, very sharp image, Stu, in spite of the conditions.

Stu, a beautiful shot, looks like a port view from a spaceship.
Best regards,
Eric.

Hi Stuart...

Really sharp crescent moon, well done and glad the results paid off under the conditions you had.

Looks good Stu. Did you use a filter here or is it a polychromatic image?

Hi Mark,

Polychromatic. I should also mention that it’s a mosaic (2.5x Barlow).

Cheers.

That's really nice Stuart :bow it was a bit of a mixed bag weatherwise this weekend so I am glad you got the reflected light.
