Post by eroel » Sat Feb 09, 2019 2:57 pm

Hi:
Some FD´s in CaK and in Ha taken with the 102mm f/9 Meade refractor fitted with a PST AaK mod and the Solarmax 90 DS, the camera was the SKYnyx 2-2.
Thanks for looking and wish you all a nice and sunny weekend.
Eric.

Beautiful disks Eric. Do you capture proms and "surface" features in the same exposure?

David:
No, I capture a "Surface" and also a "prominence" image, then I make the composition.
Like these higher resolution sets taken on the 2nd of February 2019, with a 6" f/12 refractor and an old ATM Daystar Ha filter.
Best regards,
Eric.
