Life of the quiet sun - an ultra small beautiful arc prominence through a 280mm telescope.

Post by Valery »

The sun is quiet now. But at a small scale it still alive and very busy . One just need a bigger scope to look and to study sun life at a low scale. Numerous changes are very fast - within minutes and even tens of seconds!

Just look at this absolute beauty - an ultra small arc-like prominence (just above the center) and you will understand what do I mean.
Hope you like it too.

Equipment. Telescope Celestron C11 equipped with a full size ARIES DERF filter, Quark Chromosphere and Basler 1920-155 b/w IMX174 chip camera.

Thanks for looking.

This is really nice Valery, I do like the little curl at the top and the tiny miniature arch filament, the first grasps of an AR :bow
