Ok..................
I have been into computers since building my first 486sx, and I am still updating and loving it, therefore I am still quite into IT, but...........
I HATE and LOATH having to squint at a laptop, small screen in the bright light, and hate being buried in a box or under cover so no suggestions in that direction please.
My son has suggested VR, a decent headset, and believe me he is sooooo into IT especially gaming.
Is there any reason why a laptop monitor could not be replaced with a headset, I appreciate you would occasionally have to look at the keyboard but that is the same with all VR including gaming.
Thanks

Just for info, if I ever come over as "blunt" or upset it is not intentional, I am AUTISTIC, I have Aspergers, and ADHD, Autism, so my apologies if I ever sound, unintentionally confrontational. Thank you

Guess it is one of those things that would need to try to see whether it suited the individual or not...

A very interesting idea! makes me think what will the solar observer of the future be like. This has sparked my imagination

Re: VR or not VR that is the question
I have never used a VR headset, but if you can get the video quality and no glare it should be a great opinion for daytime use!
I dislike the glare on LCD camera screens as well...prefer the viewfinder of my DSLR the majority of the time.

I tried one , the headsets get quite hot and uncomfortable if you are in the direct sunlight.
