halpha sun of April 9th

Post by stef41 »

Good morning, everyone,

today risen at 2pm after my second sleepless night at the Sirene observatory on the Albion plateau in France to see that the Alps were covered with large cumulus clouds that were growing and clouds were also coming from the south!
Also, before I even have breakfast, let's go to the refractor to shoot the portrait of the sun before it disappears! :)

still at fs60 on GPDX with sm40 double stack, glasspath x1.25, BF10 and zwo178mm around 12h30 UT

full of pretty protus today and especially it's been a long time since I've seen such a big spot! :D
So she deserved a crop just for her! :D
