AR2738 Approaching Limb

Post by Carbon60 »

The soon to be departing AR2738 looked wonderful this morning, heading towards the western solar limb, albeit with slightly murky skies spoiling the highest resolution images.

Here it is, imaged with my 150mm/DS Lunt 35 mod with 2.5x Powermate and Basler acA1920-155um camera. Two pane mosaic.

Nice collection stu! Glad you got some sun this morning. I gave up sun today to play good husband duties with the family. Tomorrow I will be playing sunshine assuming these valleys aren't full of fog. Will be nice to get a view before the spot passes over the limb. Don't think we will get any sun on Friday as we then drive from Beddgelert to Filey where we stay for the easter weekend with friends.

Excellent mosaic, Stu. I like the perspective of the sunspot approaching the limb: it has different look.

These are great Stuart :bow :hamster: however to be too sad it is nearly rounding the corner, there are two spots following up the rear ready for the Easter weekend :hamster:
