Easter Sunday Sunshine 21st April
Clearest day so far today, not a cloud in sight all day. More images with the travelling kit. First off the full disk with the Lunt50 etalon, 2x cemax barlow, ED60 scope and the FLIR GH3 ICX814 camera.

I went for a prom shot with the Quark on the ED60:

Then the CaK full disk, same setup but stopping back to 40mm aperture: Not much to see but the seeing was good.

Then I decided for a closeup on the small plage departing the limb, 2.5x and 1.5x barlow stacked with the PGR CH3 camera.

Tomorrows sun looks to be another blank one, but there are blue skies forecast so hope to be getting somemore views in...

Another very fine set, Mark. It’s a pity the Sun currently is so very blank.

Re: Easter Sunday Sunshine 21st April
Very nice images, Mark!
This is the blankest sun I ever saw. And this is right after so nice AR12738!
I hope that AR12738 will be back and even more developed.
