That looks (even on a phone) amazing! Did you try Christian's Basler with your set up to see if the difference between the 300mm pictures has something to do with the camera?

Thank you for the nice comments.

Christian's scope is operational since several years and very stiff: carbon, etc.
I'm still in the experiment phase with my my scope; the secondary holder is a cheapo for now, not very rigid.

We discussed with Christian the camera quality. The Basler should be more sophisticated in terms of internal electronic; at least the basler has the gamma conversion made by the camera electronic, which is not the case of the ASI (Software gamma).
But we are not using gamma. We didn't neither compare both cameras.

Christian is also using a different gain.
