Back imaging

Post by ffellah »

Hello all: glad to be back imaging after two full months. First because of horrible weather, then for a nasty infected insect bite on my stomach that kept me under antibiotics for a full month. When you take antibiotics you cannot stay in the sun (great !) :o . Seeing today was not good even if the SSM was insisting it was good. Could not use the large aperture, so I went with the SM90 for a full disc. After all this time I almost could not remember what to do... anyway this is my modest contribution for today, together with the visiting hummingbird in our front yard and another small bird, maybe a sparrow, having lunch. There were a couple of small filaments and some prominences, one larger.

Hope to get better weather in September, when it is cooler and seeing should be better.

Clear skies to all !

Franco

Welcome back Franco, sorry to hear the critters have been biting. Great full disk, and I love the birdies, bit of luck they'll eat the biting critters...
