Few images of October 27th
Returned to image the Sun after a long pause due to bad weather. A small equatorial active region is rotating into view however is still on the limb and today I could not see it yet. Few prominences were visible on the W and E limb while the disc was peppered with some minor plages and filaments. Here are the largest prominences
a close-up of a small region in H-alpha
and in CaK
Very happy of my new triplet objective, really sharp from H-alpha to calcium.Raf

Very nicely done! Especially the first image at the limb.

Thanks to all in the meantime that small active region is now visible at E limb, I can't see if it is spotless or not

Really nice details especially on the limb capture!
Is that a LS 50 or 60 etalon you’re using with your mod?

Re: Few images of October 27th
Thanks for your comments. Confirm, is the LS50 as it exactly fits in the M68 female thread on the focuser tube. A Baader D-ERF is in front of the objective.
