Proms 12th November 2019

Post by Martin_S »

Here's a few of my best images from 12th November 2019 ,taken with my Lunt LS60 tha Double stacked with a 50mm Lunt etalon, and DIY cooled ASI290mm camera.

The day was windy and the Solar disc was flat with the exception of a hot spot on the edge of the limb.

Nice shots Martin, good capture of whatever new is coming around the limb. Given it's latitude my money is on it being cycle 25...

Thank's Eric and Mark, I was quite amazed how bright the solar feature was , even when I dropped the exposure and gain right back it was still visible.
