Dec 13 Full Disk
Not much going on but I replaced my blue glass and wanted to test it. Not a sunspot to be seen. We've now had 268 spotless days this year and on the verge of an historic low. Tomorrow will be 269 spotless days, the most since the year 1913.

Nice disk image Dave, rain and low altitude of sun where I am so I only get a window of an hour if it's clear then. Well done

Re: Dec 13 Full Disk
Thanks! That was with an LS80 double stacked. It's impossible for me to get an evenly illuminated full disc with the DS.

Hi Dave,
Are you able to rotate the upper etalon ? I have my two etalons at an angle of 90°

Re: Dec 13 Full Disk
Hi Dave...
Nice shot of the sun from the 13th!!!
If the scope uses the DSII module I would hope it would be able to produce a more even filed. If you haven't tried to rotate the DSII module relative to the primary one, and also adjusting the pressure in the two to make make the best image. It usually takes some playing around but worth the effort.

Nice image, Dave.
Just our luck to have all this technology and masses of kit around the world, primed and ready, for us to experience a ‘century class’ solar minimum.
