Hi all,

The AR is a real beauty! Very bright sometime. I observed it with my Lunt LS50THa PT and 150mm telescope + Quark Chromosphere.

Hope it will develops in a nice stop and I will be able to use my C11 cannon to shoot it's progress.

I noticed it on sdo (WL) yesterday evening, and it showed a small spot. This morning on SDO the spot was still there but already smaller. Got mu scope out, and by the time the Sun was in range of the scope (around 11:UT) the spot already gone. The AR was still brighter.

Still a good start!

This is what we saw just 7 months ago.

Just a pore as a result of an emerging flux region, we've had quite a few of these from cycle 25 for a while now. There's a small patch of residual plage that will be visible in the metal lines for a few days, maybe continuum too.

It is nice to see the signs of next cycle activity though.

Encouraging for the coming months as cycle 25 starts to ramp up, hopefully.

Great to see a small step on the way to the new cycle...one step at a time ;)
