Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

Today 27 Decmber Full Disc image of the Sun and AR2753 still going strong

Attached also a grid version. Is too clustered ? I used this time a 5° grid compared to the other ones with a 10° grid ¿?

Rainer

I have been enjoying your images, thanks for posting. Yes I think I would prefer the 10 degree overlay. Very nice.

BTW how do you do the overlay, and get the correct orientation?

Hi,

Thanks for the comment about the grid.

There is a software called Tilting Sun and there you input your location and time and you get the view.

Below with 10° grid

Another sharp image addition to your image series Rainer...well done :bow

I'd say the 10 degree grid looks better to me, but it isn't a major issue. I almost think the grid enhances the 3-D effect...the filament in the NE quadrant appears to be more 'elevated'...maybe just my eyes.
