Jan. 25, 2020 FD and AR2757

Post by Astrophil » Sun Jan 26, 2020 3:18 am

It's nice to see a little more solar activity. AR 2757 put on a small but rather active show with filaments flying around. The SE limb has a region of activity coming into view and a prom to the NE looked good. Seeing deteriorated before I could image it. The LS80 was used again today.

You captured that AR quite nicely. Some good contrast in there; looks good.

Very nice captures Phil. Hopefully this recent activity will keep up for a while.

Wow! that AR is a real beauty, lots of dark arch filaments which means plenty of action. Would have looked good in a time lapse :bow :hamster:
