Solar Animation 22/04/2020
Today's sky was clear and steady here in Brisbane, so I tried imaging a few Prominence's for animations. The first two I tried were quite static. Then at around the 4 0'clock mark on the Sun's disc, I noticed a very faint but Large Prominence. So I really stretched my 60 mm lunt and ASI290 to the limit (Gain 209, Exposure 40.8 ms)with a sequence of exposures at 30 second intervals totaling 90 minutes. I didn't expect to get any decent results as it was around midday. so I set everything on auto and went out to do some errands for the lady of the house. When I got back I processed my captures, and this is the result.
The only other notable feature on the Sun today was a large filament on the northern hemisphere Martin

Well done Martin!! I've been looking at this prom today but it is so faint, I have had to push the camera well beyond anything I usually do. I could never have done an animation
