Today I tried a Surface animation of the Northeast region of the Sun with My Lunt DS60 /50 H alpha telescope .This is a one hour time lapse exposure.

H alpha : ,Skywatcher 120mm F8 open frame refractor, a tilted 2" 7nm H-alpha filter as a sub energy rejection filter, Baader TZ4 telecentric focal extender, Player One energy rejection filter, Combo Quark Chromosphere, Naked PST etalon for double stacking, ASI74mm camera

Oooh! lovely to see a surface animation for a change, it is great to see the spicules grass waving in the wind and AR gently fluctuating :bow :hamster:

This is great ! It is fascinating to see that even if the Sun is not active, there are some continuous small scale activity all over the chromosphere.

BTW, are you happy with the Hinode guide ?
