2020-04-26 - A whole lot of HA
Forecast predicts today being the last sunny day for a while to come; so of course I made use of that. Conditions weren't great (already a bit hazy), but still good enough to get some decent shots with the smaller apertures.
A few nice proms showed up, and the bright spot close to the equator is still in full force. So those were the targets obviously.
Setup:
HA (Full Disk): Lunt LS50 b600 (single), IMX 178.
HA (everything else): 80ED, Quark Chromosphere, 35nm H-Alpha Filter (before the diagonal), IMX174.
Thanks for looking!

Very well done, really like them prom. That bright spot has been named AR12760, with rapid spot changes.

Jochen,
Great images. You've picked up the tiny pores and the spicule layer. Proof of considerable skill and resolution.

Thanks Stu/Alexandra.
And while it's a shame this weather has ended; it's still only April. Plenty of time left for a (hopefully) sunny end of spring and summer *fingers crossed*
