Full disk 05-06-2020

Post by rsfoto » Fri Jun 05, 2020 6:19 pm

Hi,

Another sunny day with better seeing then yesterday and some interesting things to see on the White Light image.

The plague located in the Northeastern quadrant at +27° and -67° is visible in the WL image and it has a polarity -/+ being a cycle 25 spot.

Also having read about the difference of a spot and a pore I got carried away and think I see two pores in the WL image    I guess if we look with a loupe on the WL image there could be some more pores :?:

The three Umbra/Penumbra spots from AR2765 are also visible in the H-alpha image.

As usual best seen in new tab for full size and thanks for dropping by :bow2

Fine discs, Rainer. In the last weeks I have seen many short-lived pores appearing here and there on the disc.

Hi Rainer,

Thanks for pointing out the pores. The combination of HA and WL images certainly give me a more complete image. Thanks.

Alfred

I certainly missed those pores in or near AR12764.
