Nice full disk, they are getting better
the uneven illumination is very hard to get rid of, I suffer the same, I think most of us do.

I agree with Rod's comment about trying to get rid of the uneven illumination, but sometimes contrasting and/or brightening the image down a tad,
does help, if the area of interest is the most important part.

Hi Dan
On the subject of the uneven illumination I edit mine out in photo editing software.
It can be quite a long job though mainly because I do it in small steps so I dont over do it.
I have had a go at your image above and it came out quite well, I can post if you want.
Its not the best solution but helps.

Great shot of the full disk and the current features :bow

The bright spot might be managed with some tuner adjustments too...reminds me of my system when the front DS and the internal etalon need to be adjusted a bit...sometimes hard to get the system setup ideally. Not necessarily the solution in your case, just what i see sometimes.
