Prom and ARs of July 31
It's terribly hot today, I had the intention to produce an animation of that interesting pillar in the SE but I failed to resist outside for more than those few minutes needed to take the below images. Interesting Sun, further details are emerging from the NE limb.

Robert, It looks like you got the last of the big tall prom. It had faded out by the time I got to my observations.

These are crackers Raf, the big prom was beautiful wasn't it and yes it was oppressively hot
