22.10.2020 Bit disappointing.
Early mist cleared to sunshine. Strange seeing conditions. With de-focusing rather than the usual "agility."
"Busy" at about 9.30 near NE limb. Nice prom at 7 o' clock SE but rather dim.

Nice set of captures there.
Looks like that new AR rotating into view might be semi interesting.

Nice images
may get better as it goes along, the prom changed constantly yesterday.
Two small spots have arrived in white light though, none early on.

Thank you all for your kind words.
The seeing conditions were so poor so I gave up and rebuilt my mounting instead.
I was hoping for a "proper sunspot."

Thanks.
I was having to work hard to get anything out of the mush.
Then it went completely downhill.

Hi again Chris,
Alexandra said to you "anything can happen - even the time travel" and now I've just noticed that indeed you have travelled through time as your post heading of "22.10.2020 Bit disappointing." tells me that either you have a Time-Travel Machine, or I've been asleep for a month... !!!
No probs - I've woken-up at least...
CLEAR SKIES
Terry
