Nice filament 1/10/20

AR 12773 has been a little bit of an anticlimax and weather has got in the way of some good imaging through the week but today as it approaches the limb I caught a nice filament.
Lots of thick clouds but nice and clear, stable air after rain just enough to get the capture.

You have caught that thin filament connected to or as part of the larger one! I saw them separated by a little space but I might have not been able to see a fainter part connecting them. But filaments change fast. They could have came together after I viewed them.

Hi Rod,

With polarisers I saw pretty much as you imaged with the MAK180 PST mod2.

I saw the main white thread you imaged and both the black features.

The other white parts I did not notice from re-call.
