8.11.2020 Contra-rotating on the spot.

A clear and sunny morning with better seeing than of late.
I followed Mark's and Alexandra's suggestions and rotated my etalon relative to the camera.
Sadly I had lost the tuning in the process and produced some very weird images.
I even tried a 16 bit capture. Finally, I re-tuned and now have the "fluffy bits" back again.

Like everybody else I am completely at the mercy of the seeing conditions.
Today was continuously sunny but with some whiteness towards the sun.

Transparency was reasonable but soft and masked by thermal agitation [shaking] all day.

I have seen far better transparency on the monitor in the late afternoon in summer.
Steadiness of the image like orbiting the sun and looking down through a window.

Today was none of those things but still manageable thanks to our clever software.

I see some tiny white dots in the de-tuned images. EBs maybe?

Wow!! nice images one has a curious black line attaching one spot to the other, is this an artifact as I don't see this on any of the others?

The black line with a blob [Solar Liquorice Lollipop?] is real enough.
At least in the usual, imaging sense. A short lived, dense filament perhaps?

I shall have to check the videos on my laptop around the time to check for duration.
Fortunately I often take many videos at very short intervals as I "snap" at moments of steadier seeing.
Putting date and time labels on my processed images is often useful to pinpoint such ephemeral features.

I can see the tiny white spots in all of these images.
Most likely EBs. [Ellerman Bombs] "Micro flares" according to Wiki.
