Saturday sunshine 19th December 2020

Post by Montana » Sun Dec 20, 2020 12:08 pm

Yesterday was a mixed bag of weather with clear spells, cloudy spells and rain. Each never lasted more than an hour. Early afternoon I managed a quick session with the PSTs from the upstairs bedroom window. I used the PGR Chameleon and this time ignored the Newton's rings but just got on with it. I then used the plugin Pattern suppressor to remove them and it worked really well and is easy now I understand it.

The bedroom observatory is working well, Alexandra :).

Lovely images with the PSTs..... and a transit too.
No chance of doing anything solar from here.

These are lovely disks Alexandra. I really like the bird ani. Sun was out here yesterday when I was doing my talk, now it looks like it's going to be cloudy all day today now, oh well!

Great shots, Alexandra! Seems that the best PST images always come from you. The bird transit is a nice touch as well. Lucky imaging.

Phil
