Full disk 23-02-2021

Post by rsfoto » Tue Feb 23, 2021 8:47 pm

Hi,

Another sunny day with a veryslight breeze but seeing was as normal between 1" - 3" arc seconds

Interesting is that at the surface perturbation in the Northeastern quadrant visible in H-alpha at ~ +22° and ~-15° in White light you can see three tiny pores in a row.

Bot new spots AR 12804 and 12805 are still nice and seem to grow.

As usual best seen in original full size in a new tab/window :bow

These are looking great Rainer! Very much looking forward to seeing them myself this weekend if the good weather we have forecast holds out.

Rainer,
Your Ha mosaic shows the SW prom very nicely. Sharp. Nice job on the WL images too!

Thank you Rainer. It's amazing how quickly the tilt develops as we progress around our orbit.

Those sunspots are developing nicely.
