Not much surface-detail in Ha today, as shown, so those proms have it...

Thank you so much Alexandra and Jochen for your kind words.

Also thanks to the SPOD organiser too !!

I'm starting at the beginning again with the two new cameras (ZWO ASI 178MM's) and the WL scope and camera will be activated tomorrow - if time allows.

Then I will be trying-out the various magnification-lenses next, then adding my filter-wheel to try-out just about every filter available that I already have, to see if I can achieve some of the images that others have achieved - so well... (using knowledge gained from SolarChat - of course)...

More learning-curves to be undertaken, before any Cataract op's to be done - hopefully.

The disc doesn't show much for me either. I couple of small low contrast plages and a few small filaments. Proms saved the day!

Yes that sounds right James and I probably could have adjusted the etalon a little more for such detail and also this morning was for Single-Stacking only, so the DS would likely have shown more SFC detail...
