Well documented Prominence. Thanks everyone!

Post by DeepSolar64 »

Everyone,
I have really enjoyed all of the images, animations and visual reports of the big " Bonfire Prominence " on the NW limb today ( Tuesday ). I think this is the best documented prominence I have seen in my short time here. I had intended to upload gifs/Mp4s from GONG and the SDO AIA304 instrument but with a total size of over 50mb they are just too big. I encourage everyone to look at those online, especially the AIA304 one. It's pretty neat! The site for GONG has the GONG data, of course and the SDO data can be obtained from the SDO website, The Sun Today website or Helioviewer.org.

Goodnight or Good Morning or good day everyone. Where ever you are. Seize the light!

James
