Hi, sorry if this may be covered previously, but can a ADC be used to improve the seeing and reduce turbulence for solar imaging ?

Thanks

Magnus

Hello Magnus,
There is no relation at all between ADC and seeing. The ADC reduces atmopheric dispersion, and not turbulence.

Adaptative optics correct turbulence effects, but this is the realm of professional telescopes.

It can be used to reduce newton rings but not turbulence

Sadly. I'm still hoping that some day someone invents an affordable C11 with adaptive primary mirror, lol.
