H alpha prominence from April 6
Hi Everyone.
Starting to dust off cobwebs and return to some imaging. Yesterday offered some average seeing and I was able to image the complex prom on the NE limb with the C8 edge with Daystar 0.6A QPE at ~ f30. Also tried an animation which spans about one hour. Plenty of complex swirling motion!
Cheers.
Peter

Re: H alpha prominence from April 6
The stills are great but the animation brings the prom to life. Look at the central area. It's spinning like a tornado! But on a scale and speed that makes terrestrial tornadoes look microscopic. These are certainly outstanding work!!
