Last white light shots of the year-Dec 30, 2011
OK--I squeezed a bit more time to shoot and got thelast white light shots of the year with my ES 127ED and Lunt wedge. The filter was the 706nm TiO (thanks Mark!!) The camera was my DMK 41.

thanks man---we were supposed to head for San diego for the Holiday weekend this morning but the wife took a nap instead so we head out tonight--got some unexpected scope time though lol.

Superb shots Jim, you keep setting the bar higher and higher! My diminuative 3 inch cant come close to your massive 5 inch.

(You know what would be very interesting to see - a similar Ha set of images, taken at the same time, superimposed and faded to/ from the white light images to show the differences in the AR and the umbra/ penumbra.....)
