Hi all,
I normally post next day, but Im processing this mornings shots right now, and when I got to this one, I had to show you! this is a Full Size 1600 x1200 image. To achieve full disk, I had to use the antares .5x focal reducer screwed onto the shortie nosepiece. Other wise even the '51 chip gets only about 3/4 the sun with the Lunt 100. I guess the point Im trying to make here is that when I did a full disk with my dmk31, the image was much lower res. I really appreciate the larger chip! And after this weekend, my lovely wife is getting me a killer fast quad core laptop so I can blaze through the maximum speed when I record at a blistering 12 fps.
Ok, here is the image. click to enlarge!
