Re: Plane Transit 01-010-2012
I got excited just reading the title! and I'm not disappointed A very interesting angle too, was it taking off and launching into space?
Just brilliant, I really like the exhaust plume as well.

Thanks Alexandra. I keep telling myself that I will have bring my equipment back to work. I see planes crossing the sun throughout the day so I wouldn't have wait very long. I think a plane lands or takes-off every ~1 minute at DFW airport. Not as big as Atlanta but 4th largest.

thank you gents. Its always fun to capture something crossing the sun.
Re: Plane Transit 01-010-2012
Earl that is a cool plane shot. I would think however getting birds would be far more common. Any one here have a bird crossing the sun shot?

Re: Plane Transit 01-010-2012
Chris, I get birds almost every imaging session. They are all over the place. Most are out of focus. I have also seen birds over the moon as well as a couple of planes. When these cross it's a worderfull experience
best regards
best regards
Re: Plane Transit 01-010-2012
I capture birds a lot too. I have a few nests above my garage and in my trees but they are too close to be in focus and just appear as momentary blurs.

I have one but they tend to be blurred (too close).
