First attempt at Solar Imaging. This posting is for Stephen to see I am trying to use the Flea2, Lunt 35 and taking advantage of fair visibility.

Those Lunt35s and PSTs sure do a good job for small scopes. Nice image.

Only stardust in the wind, some fine and some less fine scopes, filters and adapters as well. Switzerland 47 N, 9 E, in the heart of EUROPE :)

from 7 am - 7 pm http://www.nanosys.ch

from 7.01 pm - 6.59 am http://www.wastronomiko.com some times vice versa ;)

Thanks for the encouragement. I know I need a better camera. It is very generous of Stephen to send me the Lunt 35 and Flea2 to practice with. I am impressed with the 35.

BTW...while i worked with the AVI's I found the ASTRO IIDC did the best stacking and aligning for an automatic mode. I tried Registax and AviStack. They may do better as I learn but at this time Astro is better. ASTRO IIDC does cost tho....Regi and AviStack are free. Just putting this out there.
