Seeing was only so-so, but stacking only 40-50 frames out of 600-1000 frame AVIs captured some fine structure. The filter is only 0.8A bandpass so chromospheric features like filaments are none too dramatic.

Wonderful! especially number 2, it looks so 3D the spots really have a feel of being a bowl shape.

Thanks all for the thumb up on the images. Been lucky to have clear skies over the pass few weeks, but trying to get free time and particularly interesting solar activity to coincide has been the challenge.
