Full Disc White light 21/01/12 + Data

Hi all, today was a bit of a struggle, 100% clouds and heavy rain and winds.
Had a slight break about 2.30pm when there was a gap with whispy clouds blowing over, so quickly set up and managed a shot of todays Sun.
Was a bit unsure about posting, but gives a record of todays spots...

Single shot taken with the Canon 1000D at 1/40th sec through the ED80, Lunt 2" wedge, continuum,IR/UV and ND3 filters...

Given the conditions it's a great result - i'm glad you did post it. Not seen any sun at all here today, although looks to have brightened up a bit now it's dusk...

Great disc, thanks for braving the weather for us! I managed a very quick 10 minutes through the PST at lunchtime but was nearly blown away and rain was falling within minutes.
