Hello all:

Image of spot 1402 and 1401 (9.49 TU) after PROTON EVENT IN PROGRESS. NOAA AR 1402 produced a M8.3 flare on Jan.
23, peaking at 03:59 UT.

The video is also great. The animation is a time lapse or came from several AVI files edited to build the final movie?

Only stardust in the wind, some fine and some less fine scopes, filters and adapters as well. Switzerland 47 N, 9 E, in the heart of EUROPE :)

Superb work Pepe! the image is extremely fine, I really like the arch filament which nearly circles the spot group, a very beautiful feature. The animation is also top quality and well done for putting in all the effort.
