These are truly masterpieces Cai-Uso :)

Please may I ask what settings you use to capture your prominences with your DMK as they are absolutely perfect? (Gain/gamma/exposure)

I am wondering if I am capturing my prominences wrong in the first place and making processing impossible. I seem to be going round in circles at the moment.

Regards
Alexandra

Hi Cai-Uso...

Those are spectacular images. I am always impressed by the fine structure you manage to capture and dipslay in the prominances.

Can you tell me what equipment you use...I am not familair with your filer/camera/scope set-ups.

Take care,
Brian

brilliant shots Cai Uso! Grey, misty and thawing snow for me today, no signs of the sun.

I too leave gamma on default value (100 in my case) for proms, and for disk also...

Hi Cai-Uso
...It's my turn to wonder, how long it's been, since i saw the sun...because of the continuous bad weather conditions.
Thanks to you, i can see whats going on, on sun's surface and limb. ;)

Cai Uso,
Another terrific set of images, as usual. An amazing load of details and an absolute absence of noise... true spectacular !!
