Solar imaging workshop

Stephen,
I preregistered for the solar imaging workshop and have a question. I have never done any imaging and for me this will be an introductory to imaging. I guess I need to bring a laptop with me but don't know what software I should have preloaded. Could you please give me a list of software I will need.

nothing unless you want to bring your own camera, then whatever it needs to run. Maybe some sort of graphics software. I will have computers and DSLRs set up to use and USB drives to save your images on.
