Germany is not that far for me, if I get a beer or two ;)

I will see if I can get the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute involved. They wanted to organise SUNdays during last summer, but I was away, I pointed out there was an International SUNday as well, and they liked the idea of organising something, so we should be able to get something going.

There appears to be a competing event on a different day. Do you want to negotiate the date with them?

Willie,

This is our former social media director, now fired, Pam Shivak all over the place trying to promote her own version of our event. Im not sure what her intentions are but Im just not worried about it.
No, I don't plan on negotiating anything with her or whoever she is working with.

We're a tad far from Germany, but we are planning to do another SUNday event here in Northern California on June 21st. Last year's event was well attended and lots of fun. So count us in, oh mighty Sun God. :-) :bow

Looks like the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute in Groningen will also join in. Rest assured my solar kit will be present.

There have been a few changes. We will NOT be going to Germany to launch this event.

Perhaps Costa Rica, perhaps Hawaii, perhaps just stay at home.. :)
