And do those folks know how to stuff a huge box full of goodies or what?
I'll post an inventory in a little while. The box weighs almost 4o lbs!
Wow and Wow my NASA outreach materials have arrived!

Here's a picture of the stuff NASA sent!
The two solar image cards in the front left move when you shift them - very cool The STEREO cards came with 3-D glasses. There are Journey to the Stars DVDs with educator's workbook and Sun and Space Weather interactive DVDs.
Shadows of the Sun is a package unto itself - all kinds of materials inside.
A large informative Aurora poster. A huge pile of Transit of Venus postcards with info on the back. A nice pile of SDO stickers. Some genuine NASA solar eclipse glasses, too.
The Cosmic Connection poster also came from them in a separate mailing.
Obviously, some of this material needs to be placed into the hands of motivated teachers asap, and that will be my first errand. If you haven't made a request for outreach materials, I am hoping this will encourage you to take advantage of it and get the word out there. Stephen posted the link earlier. Just do it!
