Evening all, not sure if we have a page or topic for this years global event, so here is our effort.
We (Astronomy For Fun) were asked to team up with Daventry council to help end the Arts Crafts and Environment festival.
The last day was on International SUNday and we were on the main stage to promote International SUNday.
Daventry express put a bit in the paper for us, and our event was in the program that was handed out to over 1000 people over the week.
The council also printed off a load of flyers to hand out and even the local radio turned up and interviewed most of us.
The highlight of the day was a visit from the Town Mayor, who we had photos taken with and really enjoyed looking through our scopes and took away some CBSAP glasses for her grandchildren...
Now planning next years event as the whole week was done with no funding and really got the community together with a lot of people helping out to make it a success...
Thanks to all involved and Tich for the timelapse.
