The L.C. Bates Museum holds several nature camps for elementary and middle-school-age kids in the summer.
Here is a picture from last week with one of the first group of campers:
The boy is removing his Charlie Bates solar glasses so that he can see sunspots on the computer screen.
Favorite question? "Can I keep the glasses?"
