Completed the first of three events this past Tuesday. The event was geared for girls ages 9 - 11 to get them interested in science, engineering and math. They were given a homework assignment before I arrived to find 5 facts about the sun. It was a real joy to listen to them as they spoke about the sun's core temperature, the number of Earth's that could fit inside the sun, and how long it takes light to reach Earth.
Here are some images of the event.
