Adapters

Post by gabrieli »

This post may have to be moved but I thought people may be interested in what this company offers.

I had never heard of this company until a few days ago (they apparently started up in 2002 in the US). They make adapters to attach a wide variety of optical components together. You specify what you need to attach on the telescope side and the camera/eyepiece side using a pull down menu and when finished you see the price. Even if you have no immediate need, you may get some ideas.

Lou:
I have known them since they started, the owner also speaks Spanish and is a high precisión manufacturer of any part you need.
Their parts are incredibly well made and finished.
Regards,
Eric.

Lou...

I have had them make at least one adapter for me...prices seem to be pretty reasonable for a 'one-off' type of part.

I have a local machinist who can make a lot of adapters, but when you get to fine thread and/or metric fittings he can't do them....Precise Parts can fill the need here very nicely.

I'll put it in the reference library Lou so it doesn't get buried.
